We are a small family-run business which was founded only a couple of years ago. Brain-Power.dk seeks to develop its position on two separate markets:

1. Supplying outstanding teaching materials to the educational sector, from Kindergarten to university level. Within this market we have two focus-areas:

- interactivity in education and work. At present this line is represented by our dealerships in SMARTBoard products and Oxford Easybook digital pen & paper kits. We are continuously seeking new and innovative products within this field and we would welcome contact with producers of high-quality products which can further strengthen this focus-area in our business.

- frontline materials particularly for teaching the natural sciences and mathematics in schools. Here we are also interested in contact with suppliers of new and pedagogical materials which have the capacity to stimulate the students' interest in the subjects and to enhance and facilitate effective learning processes. Presently, our primary products are BrainBox (electronics), Zome (math and sciences),  and Fractiles-7 (math and creative arts). BrainPower.dk are exclusive distributors of Zome in all the Nordic/Scandinavian countries. We are also proud to serve as exclusive agents in Denmark for Geo Institut (Porta Westfalica, Germany), supplyers of high-quality maps (raised relief-technique and traditional) and their unique "king-size" globe in real 3-D - i.e. you can touch and feel both the mountainranges on land and the extreme depths at the sea-bottom.

Recently we have been given the privilege of selling Polydron, the well-known brand of konstruction kits, used in schools, institutions and private homes all over the world. We believe that with Zome, Fractiles-7, and Polydron we cover almost every thinkable need for constructing geometrical models ind mathmatics and the sciences.

Latest addition:

As of May 2007 we have become exclusive distributor/retailer for the amazing "Bright's Interactive Atom" - an awardwinning new, tactile teaching aid which brilliantly gives the students a concrete understanding of the nature of the amtoms. The model is in plastic and it include the cell and small "buttons" representing electrons, neutrons and protons. All is constructed so that even blind students have great benefit from this material.

We are particularly interested in physical materials which can be used in the context of the already available Danish text-book materials. We are less interested in pure text-oriented materials as we have no ambition of becoming publishers ourselves. (However, given the right products we can perhaps arrange for a cooperation with publishers/translators.)

We can, however, manage translation from English to Danish of smaller texts, such as manuals, instructions, and the like.

2. Supplying adults and children outside the school-context with products which facilitate either learning and development or work-processes - or in some other context give the customer a genuine experience of service or satisfaction.

This market - mostly private consumers - will primarily be serviced by our web-shop, here called "Netbutik". In this you can purchase the products and pay with credit card - at present we only service holders of the Danish banking system's DANKORT. But if we register sufficient demand for doing business with customers abroad, we will consider acceptance of more (international) credit cards.
